Monday—Meet at gazebo off Depot Street at 5:30 p.m. for Beginner’s ride on Uptown Spur Trail. Intermediate riders with all riding abilities leave at 6 p.m. for 10 to 15 mile road ride. Also, see http://rivers-trails.blogspot.com/2009/06/beginners-bike-ride-uptown-spur-trail.html
Fourth Saturday—Meet at Fieldale Trailhead and River Access at 3125 S.River Road, Fieldale for Beginner’s ride at 10:00 a.m. Beginners need bike suitable for gravel & earthen trail. Road rides with varying lengths also occur.
Mountain Biking Jim has been busy with trail building at Dark Hollow and Jamison Mill. I hope to get out and ride some the trail. I will be working on pages for each of the sites in the future. Road Biking Spring Rides are mostly pick up rides. If we hit a nice stretch of weather we will put out an email. On Aptil 25th we rode from Fielddale.
